Grand Caverns Park river access is available at the limestone steps located under the park’s entryway bridge. Grand Caverns Park does not provide any equipment available, however, park visitors are encouraged to bring their own and can learn more about the south fork of the Shenandoah River here.
River access is located at the stone steps under the park’s entryway bridge. Guests are welcome to bring their own canoes and kayaks. Grand Caverns Park does not rent watercraft.
Fishing is open to all current Virginia fishing license holders. The river is stocked with trout by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.
